goal off the rebound of a Kengo Nakamura strike.

"I'm happy about the goal, no question," Yano told reporters, three days after Japan was felled by Austria in a penalty shootout following a 0-0 draw. "It's a relief. I'm glad we won.

"Watching the Swiss from the bench, I thought they looked strong and that's exactly what they were when I got in the game. But it was good to be playing a team as good as that."
